Join our team at JMG as a Stores / Warehouse Operative, where you will support the smooth and efficient operation of our store/warehouse. You’ll be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accurate stock control, and supporting production and logistics teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, hands-on, and thrives in a structured, fast-moving environment.

You will be expected to follow procedures precisely, maintain a safe and tidy working environment, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our warehouse processes.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries.
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for despatch accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and correctly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts if trained).
• Support production and logistics teams with material handling and stock movement.
• Follow all company procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in cross-training as needed.

Do You Hold These Skills?

Essential:

• A basic level of spoken and written English, along with
• A basic level of education, is required to understand work instructions, communicate effectively with the team
• Uphold health and safety standards.
• Good attention to detail and basic numeracy skills.
• A full clean, driving licence

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics role.
• Experience with inventory systems or stock control processes.
• Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach truck).
